PROJECT
NAME: PATERNOSTER SQUARE
Bishop Developments.
Supply Portland dressings.
Portland Whitbed.
Following controversial comments labelled at Paternoster Square
by
HRH Prince of Wales in 1998, the re-development of the site was
specifically designed to reflect its esteemed surroundings under
the
shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral.
Amongst the usual sourcing, fabrication and installation of the
masonry dressings,
the integration of an AutoCAD system proved crucial to the successful
delivery of the project.
Large niche to walkway from Paternoster Square to St Paul’s
Cathedral rebated rusticated
ashlar to ground floor shops and offices featuring chamfered keystone
heads.
“High tolerances and standards of workmanship were key to
the success of this project
given it’s high profile in the public eye.”
Richard Ferris, Design Co-ordinator.
